One dorm for all four nights
Pick a place with a locker and a desk who will hold a bag if you walk light. Moving hostels every night is how packs get heavy and days get short.

Sleep cheap, walk Kudle to Paradise in the morning, and be back before the path gets empty.

Before you go. Wear shoes you can get wet, not flip-flops, on the rock sections. Do not walk Half Moon to Paradise after 4pm if you are the only person on it. In monsoon, stay on Kudle and Om. ATMs in town are more reliable than the ones by the beach.
A coast trip for someone alone who would rather walk than rent a bike. The hostel holds the bag. The days are the cliff path between the beaches, done with the morning crowd.
Train to Gokarna Road or a bus into town. Dorm near the beach road or above Kudle. Swim only if you know the shore. Eat in town. Save the path for tomorrow when you are fresh.
Start by 8. Walk Kudle to Om along the headland. Swim where other people are swimming. Turn around at Om unless the path onward is busy. You do not need to collect every beach in one day.
If the morning boats and walkers are out, continue toward Half Moon and stop for lunch. If the path is quiet, repeat Om and spend the afternoon in the hostel. Solo is not a reason to be the last person on a cliff.
Gokarna main beach and the town lanes in the morning. Leave for the station with time. The beach path is not a plan for a departure afternoon.

Arrive by train or overnight bus. Between beaches, walk. An auto back from Om is fine if the light is going. Do not rent a scooter for a footpath trip.
Do
The route is the trip. No guide. No ticket. Turn around when you stop seeing other walkers ahead of you.

Thali in Gokarna town is the cheap meal. Beach shacks are for lunch you can see being cooked. Carry water. The path has stretches with nothing.
