Kasol dorm, then a camp bunk
Two nights in Kasol in a locker dorm. One night at Kheerganga in a basic camp bed or tent — ask what is included before you sit down. Carry a light towel.

A river hostel in Kasol, a walk to the Kheerganga camps, and the spring if you still have legs.

Before you go. Skip the trail in heavy rain. The last hour is roots and mud. Keep the phone in a zip bag. The spring is communal — go in daylight, and leave jewellery in the camp locker. Walk down, do not wait for a ride that is not coming.
A solo-friendly loop in the Parvati valley. You use Kasol as the bag drop, walk in from Barshaini, sleep in the basic camps at the top, and come down the next morning. It is a hike with a soak, not a festival.
Bus to Bhuntar, then a local up to Kasol. Check into a dorm near the river, not the loudest cafe. Leave anything you will not carry — the trail pack should be a day bag plus one warm layer and a towel.
Shared cab to Barshaini early. Walk via Kalga. Five to seven hours. The path is stepped and obvious until the last forest section, where you follow people, not a shortcut. Reach the camps with daylight left. Eat, then the pools if you are not shivering.
Soak early, before the day-trippers. Breakfast, then down the same path to Barshaini and a cab to Kasol. Sleep in the same dorm. Your knees will prefer the hostel bed to another camp night.
Slow breakfast, collect the bag you locked, and take the bus down to Bhuntar. Do not add another trek. This valley is the trip.

Bhuntar to Kasol, Kasol to Barshaini. Sit in a shared cab. The road is not where you want a rental scooter with a pack on.
Do
No permit for this trail. Start early. If cloud is sitting on the last ridge, stay in Kalga instead of pushing to the top alone.

Thali at the camps is fine and overpriced, which is normal. Eat where other trekkers are eating. Carry a water bottle you can refill at the cafes.
