Kutch when the salt is white

Bhuj, then one night on the white desert. The desert is a winter trip. The tent city runs about November to early March.

Overview

Rann Utsav 2026–27 runs from 1 November 2026 to 7 March 2027. Dates move. Check before you book a train you cannot change.

Day 1 — Bhuj
The city and a textile shop that is not a tour. Sleep.
Day 2 — The white flat
Out to Dhordo for sunset and the night. One night is enough.
Day 3 — Back
Morning on the salt if you want the light, then Bhuj and the train.

Stay

One night in Bhuj and one tent at Dhordo. The tent is the costly bed.

Move

One shared seat in. Walk after that. Leave a buffer on the day you go home.
