Overview

The old city is walkable until you add a day trip to every fort in the district.

Day 1 — Arrive and the ghat
Drop the bags and walk the lake edge. Nothing else.
Day 2 — Palace, then nothing rushed
City Palace in the morning. Bagore ki Haveli in the evening if you want the hour of dance.
Day 3 — One boat
A shared boat, not a private sunset package. The train or bus out after lunch.

Stay

An old-city room within a few minutes of Gangaur Ghat. About ₹3,000 a night.

Move

One shared seat in. Walk after that. Leave a buffer on the day you go home.
